Kate and Nick's Vivid, technicolor daydream of a wedding initially felt contradictory to the old world elements at Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota, but we quickly found a way to take those old world textures and give them a playful twist--custom tiled pedestals supported funky blooms while mimicking the tile work on the building, bust vases dressed in sunglasses felt like garden statues in party mode, a cloud of tulle, fringe and babies' breath became the focal point of their patio dance floor. At every turn, Kate & Nick embraced fun and funk--and their retro disco-inspired recipe became one of our favorites to grace the lawn of Sarasota's beloved seaside castle.
