Jeannie & Alexander

Jeannie is an ecologist, and designing her and Alexander’s January wedding at St. Pete’s Sunken Gardens meant curating an ultra in-season selection of stems in soft, silvery jewel tones. Drawing inspiration from stormy winter seascapes, films like ever after, and the ceiling of the Sistine chapel, Earl Gray roses, anemone, thistle and Astrantia accented sage-y greens for a wintry palette that meshed well with the wild, green landscape of the gardens. To stay true to Jeannie’s heart for conservation, floral pieces had a dual purpose—blooms from the aisle became wild and romantic centerpieces alongside sculptural, foam-free arrangements and a bridal bouquet that became the best focal design for their sweetheart table.
